Plural Information - General Plurality
System/Group Structure
Do you think a Plural group is less 'real' if the body is younger (late teens) and stable?
Not sure what it is you're asking here. So when the body is older and unstable this creates a more 'real' Plural group? A plural group can be real no matter the body's age or mentality. Plurality can develop within any physical body, no matter the age, gender, or mental capacity. We have known children as young as 3 years old who have shown obvious signs of being Plural.
Is it possible for a head-mate to be Plural too?
Absolutely. They can be Median or Plural themselves. Sometimes this is referred to as a sub-system, or a system within a system.
Where do people who don't have a head-space go when they aren't Fronting?
Good question. Perhaps some people fall asleep or 'shut off' without any memories until they return to the Front.
Is being a Median like having facets?
Being Median doesn't always mean you are a piece or facet of someone else (sometimes it is referred to as a Split). There are a few different levels to being a Median. It could also mean someone you have a very strong connection with. There are so many variations to being Median, which is why it can be a difficult one to explain.
1. A person with a few Tulpas could also be viewed as a type of Median group because they are all strongly connected to the one person. (Though, I believe some Tulpas may eventually become separate.)
2. Or one individual in a group has several 'soulbonds/walk-ins' that are connected only to them (and not to anyone else in the group). Maybe they have a personal connection due to viewing their media source and relating in their own way.
3. They can also be mind-connected in a fashion that if this person left the group, those connected would follow right along. They wouldn't be able to 'exist' without that one individual being present.
How do groups with 'houses' figure it out? Is it helpful to keep that sort of organisation? How would you deal with an influx of new members needing to be 'sorted'?
Over the years, the sorting has been used to make it easier for groups to keep track of individuals. Plus, it's much simpler in conversations to say "the Stellar House agrees, while the Floral Family disagrees". Instead of listing all 7 names in one grouping and the two dozen in the other. Truly, just about anything you can categorize can become a new House.
Examples of Houses/Groupings/Families/etc formations:
1. People who arrived during certain years. House A arrived in 2010, House B in 2011.
2. People who are related to one another, married, in relationships.
3. Grouping people by ages - Children, Teens, Adults.
4. Grouping by first letter in their names.
5. People in the same House who have similar skills - Artist House, Magic House.
On a little more creative side, some house names are connected to the Group name. The "System Planetary" which has an Earth House, Jupiter House, Sun House, and so on. Or the "Rainbow System" might have houses using colors for names. The potential combinations are pretty much endless.
